You were in my prayer today,
And I wanted you to know,
So that you will be open to the graces that comes your way,
I want you to feel the love of God like gentle breeze when you need inspiration,
That your faith remains unwavering through all life's challengers,
And that hope be your burning light that always guide your way.
I wanted to let you know that you were in my prayer yesterday,
And I whispered a prayer or two for you today,
For tomorrow and forever,
I wanted you to know,
You crossed my mind so many times,
Not a single day goes by without thinking of you,
And your happiness is what I want you to have,
And love is what I want to give.
I wished I could somewhere be there,
But I couldn't,
So I whispered you a prayer,
That God would stand by your side,
Loving, protecting, guiding you,
Blessed you,
And giving you strength and patience,
For you to endure all the challenges.
Even though I'm not with you,
Know that you are always in my heart,
Always have a special place in there,
Buried it deep down so it wont get away,
And that I whispered a prayer or two,
Only just for you.
